Split swinging backward

Swing poi forward to both sides of body. Increase speed on one of the poi until one is at the top and the other at the bottom. After you have mastered this try in reverse (see video.) When doing poi in reverse remember to scoop the air with your hands. Now go from split swinging to normal time.
Practice the moves until it feels right and they both stay on each side without crossing.
